The stairs always look worst. Walk into nearly any two-story house in Katy and the carpeted staircase is a full shade darker than the bedrooms, with the upstairs game room running a close second. Kids, dogs, and every load of laundry travel the same fourteen steps, and a vacuum can't reach what's ground into the base of those fibers.

There's not much prep on your end. Skip the vacuuming; we do it as part of the job. Builder-grade carpet wears out on a schedule
A lot of the carpet in Katy came with the house. What cleaning won't fix
Some damage is permanent, and we'd sooner tell you now. Bleach spots from a spilled bathroom cleaner have had the color stripped out, and no cleaning puts it back. Fading next to a west-facing window is the same story. Polyester pile that's been crushed into a matted lane will lift some after a cleaning, but cheap polyester doesn't spring back the way nylon or wool does.
Most other stains come out fine. Coffee, mud, spilled juice caught early, and that gray path down the hallway all respond well. Old pet stains are hit or miss on color, though the smell almost always goes.
Add-ons for pets and allergies
When carpet smells sour on a muggy afternoon after the AC shuts off, a standard cleaning won't reach the source. That smell is urine sitting in the pad. Our pet odor and stain treatment uses a live enzyme that soaks down to it and breaks it apart.
